This beautiful line was featured on Refinery 29 and I just love it. The line is fair-trade, and is hand-loomed and embroidered by women in rural Bangladesh. Some really gorgeous prints and embroidery.

I have put up a few new styles! I hope to put up more as I have time to design/make them, but my daily grind has been tiring me out lately, so I’ve been slacking on jewelry. Check it out.

“This is not at all my style and maybe Ill never wear it, but I like to give myself room to dream that sometimes, we can be someone else.” –Garance Doré
…………
I found this in my post-it notes today. I forgot I jotted this down from Garance’s site, because I was inspired by the way she (and her translator) encapsulated what I frequently find myself thinking when I buy something unusual, or maybe even just plain funny. Of course the way this is phrased is much more eloquent than my own musings while shopping.
Just a few vintage and new accessory picks for summer…

My garden is blooming. These Echeveria’s are especially lovely at the moment.
I really want this throw in bedspread form. Is that crazy? This gem is on sale at Creatures of Comfort, along with many other fine things that I still can’t afford. Sigh.
I hadn’t looked at Eternal Child for a while, but was reminded of them by a magazine spread that I saw over the weekend (Lula? I can’t remember), so I took a look at their Spring Summer collection and loved it. I am looking forward to what they have in store for fall.
I love this project. Very cool installation using simple materials to great effect.
