Sublet clothing
Tara at Sublet Clothing sent me an email the other day, introducing me to her sustainable clothing line. Unlike many eco-friendly lines I’ve seen, the line is well designed! I like these two designs especially… Thanks Tara!

Ah Muji… beautifully un-branded, well-designed Japanese products. I’ve always loved their sexy office supplies, but these kids toys are so cute too (and priced pretty fairly)!
I came across these great cacti illustrations for the SS08 collection by Woolrich Woolen Mills, but I can’t find out who they’re by… I’m still awaiting a response from them. In the meantime, take a look!
Since today is slow in the design department, I thought I’d show you a beautiful cup of coffee. Cappuccino from Intelligentsia to be specific. My friend Kim and I went there over the weekend and split a piece of coffee cake, and had lovely cappuccinos with hearts on top. Something about getting a drink with a heart on top makes you feel special. Especially on a drizzly, dreary day like Saturday.
Our friend Mark Allen over at Machine Project has been growing some beautiful carnivorous plants in little terrariums. The effect is quite delicate and lovely. Check out his Flickr photoset. They will soon have them for sale too…
My mom was so sweet, and bought me the much coveted Mina Perhonen book- vol.2 which is the Embroidery volume. I’m very excited about it. It was on my Christmas list, but I made my Christmas list a bit too late in the season (oops). So my mom gave it to me as a Valentines/Moving In present (we recently moved). The folks over at Tortoise wrapped it so nicely. Thanks again mom- I was not expecting this! See how pretty it is…
