Tham & Videg?rd Architecture: Tree hotel
Practically invisible amongst the trees, this brilliant and beautiful tree house is a concept thought up by Tham & Videg?rd Architecture. It would be so fun to spend a night up there, don’t you think?

Vintage Find: Mid-Century ceramic lion
I found this guy today. He’s so cute, I’m torn about whether I should keep him or sell him.
Bekväm scallop dress
This may be just about the sweetest dress I’ve seen for a while.
Cactus from seed
I have embarked on a slow but hopefully rewarding little project… I’m growing three different types of cactus from seed. The ones below are Gymnocalycium kieslingii and will someday look like this. They’ve made the most progress since I planted them two weeks ago which is why I’m only showing you these guys so far. Aren’t they so adorable?
Ana Kra
These lamps and shades are so beautiful. They look like so much fun that I am dabbling with the idea of making my own…

Alternative Apparel: Branching out
Are you familiar with Alternative Apparel? I was first familiarized with them a few years ago when my husband was looking for a socially conscious tee shirt company to supply tees for printing, and was trying to avoid using American Apparel. Alternative Apparel started out with basics but just like American Apparel has done over the years, Alternative Apparel is now branching out into hipper luxury knits that rival higher-end lines like T by Alexander Wang, or The Row. Even Oak NYC is selling their tees.
Follow up: Tiny blossoms
Do you remember this post? Well here’s what the buds look like open! Most likely pollinated by flies, is my guess, due to the colouring. I think these are truly lovely little flowers. It’s the first time this succulent has bloomed for me, so I’m excited.
V&A Museum: Quilts 1700-2010
Wish I could have gone to this exhibit when we were in London in January, but they were still setting up. If you are in the London area and have ?10 to spare (this is not one of the free exhibits) you should check it out.
