Woolrich lookbook illustrations
I came across these great cacti illustrations for the SS08 collection by Woolrich Woolen Mills, but I can’t find out who they’re by… I’m still awaiting a response from them. In the meantime, take a look!
My sweet mother
My mom was so sweet, and bought me the much coveted Mina Perhonen book- vol.2 which is the Embroidery volume. I’m very excited about it. It was on my Christmas list, but I made my Christmas list a bit too late in the season (oops). So my mom gave it to me as a Valentines/Moving In present (we recently moved). The folks over at Tortoise wrapped it so nicely. Thanks again mom- I was not expecting this! See how pretty it is…
Molly McIntyre
I love this cut-out piece from Molly McIntyre.
Jacob Magraw new work
So much new work this week! Jacob Magraw (who I’ve posted about previously) has some new work here. It’s quite lovely. Here are a few images.
*This work is actually from November/December, but I don’t remember it being linked on his site before.*
Greetings from Poltergeist Mountain
My friend Zach Rossman has a new zine! It’s available for sale on his site, so you should check it out. I also mentioned in a previous post that he’ll be showing in LA at Giant Robot, and he’ll probably have some zines with him there. Greetings from Poltergeist Mountain is the name of the zine, and here are the details:
-Book/zine of drawings, sketches and found photos
-34 pages + fold out 5 1/4″ x 6 3/4″ black & white photo-copied on recycled, acid-free paper
-Every book has an original photobooth photograph mounted to the cover
-Limited to 70 copies, signed and numbered
Homage to the Stamp
“Homage to the Stamp” is a series of beautiful stamps designed by Gavin Potenza (aka Exploratory Design), inspired by Otl Aicher.

American Illustration 26
So American Illustration apparently votes each year on various designs submitted by illustrators and compiles the winners into a book. If you have some spare time, you can look on their site to see all of the 915 submissions (not all of which are good, mind you)! Found via Julia Rothman’s “Book by its Cover” site… she happened to be a winner this year! Congrats Julia. Below is the cover by Evah Fan.
William Edmonds
Recently found William Edmonds site through a series of other sites, and I’m into his work… I especially like his collages.
