Emma Carroll Etc.
I am totally enamoured of this jewelry line! The top two are definitely my favourites. To quote another blog I like, “If you can’t buy it, blog it!”

Upcoming Rodarte for Target
I just read that Rodarte is going to do a collection for Target, which is mind-blowing. I love this Pasadena-based duo (practically my neighbours), but am at a loss when trying to imagine them designing a collection for the masses. They are known for their airy-yet-edgy, avant-garde approach to design. It will be interesting to see how they translate their couture styles into a more accessible product. I’m looking forward to it, are you? What Target collaborations have you enjoyed in the past?

Grégoire Alexandre
What an amazing portfolio. I literally looked at every photo on his site. The interaction with objects and models is so meticulous and beautiful.

Vintage find: Indonesian barrette
In all my thrift store and antique store trolling, this was my only good vintage score in Boulder! I really love it though.
Paper Rad- Trash Talkin’
Ever since I watched the Paper Rad “Trash Talkin’” movie almost a year ago, I’ve had this dorky yet rad version of “Jive Talkin’” stuck in my head. Now it can be stuck in your head too. You should totally watch that movie, by the way, unless you’re susceptible to seizures. A visit to their site will give you a clue as to why I make that disclaimer. There is an even more amazing video that goes along with the classic “Don’t Worry Be Happy” song, but there’s not a good copy of it on ye olde YouTube.
Vintage Miscellany
Various images I’ve collected from Etsy and around the internet for my own inspiration. Usually I link out from photos, but these are things I’ve just found around Etsy and haven’t kept track of. Mostly vintage items- quilt patterns, crochet patterns, cool things and just funny things. I hope you find them inspiring as well!
Nina Chakrabarti
I am loving these eerie tribal illustrations over model’s faces by Nina Chakrabarti for I Want You magazine.

On the Moon again: 1972
I love this photo- Earth looks so small and insignificant in the background. More Apollo 17 photos up on the George Eastman House Flickr stream.
