Just wanted to post that I’ve started making jewelry again! Some of you know I used to have a jewelry line called “Small Thunder” which sold at Ron Herman, but I had stopped making jewelry for a while (aside from the occasional gift or personal project). I recently found these great vintage brass triangles and have been making necklaces with new goldplated chain. Right now I have enough for three necklaces worth. I will contact my source for more if they do well! I will post photos as I add more new items.

I have admired this Etsy shop for a while– even more so now that they are making these lovely knit bags! I am totally one of those people that carries around a gigantic old bag as a purse, so these drew me in. The best part is that they are custom, so you can pair your own colours.

I am totally enamoured of this jewelry line! The top two are definitely my favourites. To quote another blog I like, “If you can’t buy it, blog it!”

Yes, Marisa Tomei is still adorable. Scott Sternberg continues with his tradition of shooting various folks (some very famous, some more obscure) for his Boy by Band of Outsiders lookbooks- this time with Marisa Tomei at local hipster favourite, Chateau Marmont. The last shoot was of Sarah Silverman at Canter’s Deli, which is pretty darn good too.

I just read that Rodarte is going to do a collection for Target, which is mind-blowing. I love this Pasadena-based duo (practically my neighbours), but am at a loss when trying to imagine them designing a collection for the masses. They are known for their airy-yet-edgy, avant-garde approach to design. It will be interesting to see how they translate their couture styles into a more accessible product. I’m looking forward to it, are you? What Target collaborations have you enjoyed in the past?

What an amazing portfolio. I literally looked at every photo on his site. The interaction with objects and models is so meticulous and beautiful.

In all my thrift store and antique store trolling, this was my only good vintage score in Boulder! I really love it though.
