Dries Van Noten Fall ’08 Mens
Dries Van Noten can rarely ever do wrong in my book. His men’s and women’s collections are always impeccable due to his meticulous attention to detail in print and embellishment.

A great portfolio. I like the “Space Between” and “Fakes” series especially.
I’m not very fond of this collaboration as a whole, (the bodies are mediocre, but the graphics are nice)- however, this 80’s inspired oversized graphic tee is definitely something I’d wear with some skinny jeans and boots.
I like this cover of Massive Attack’s “Teardrop” by Jose Gonzalez, and this video that goes with it.

Darn Urban Outfitters and their somewhat reasonably priced knock-offs of Danish modern furniture (as also mentioned in this previous post)! This sofa looks pretty great (although I haven’t seen it in person and sat on it, so I can’t vouch for the quality).
I just looked at the Nina Ricci Pre-Fall collection and I am in love. I like it so much better that any of their past few collections. The colour pallette is so delicate and subtle, and so are the designs… (with just enough detailing to make them interesting).
So American Illustration apparently votes each year on various designs submitted by illustrators and compiles the winners into a book. If you have some spare time, you can look on their site to see all of the 915 submissions (not all of which are good, mind you)! Found via Julia Rothman’s “Book by its Cover” site… she happened to be a winner this year! Congrats Julia. Below is the cover by Evah Fan.
Recently found William Edmonds site through a series of other sites, and I’m into his work… I especially like his collages.
