New Looksee shop merchandise
I’ve just added a lot of new handmade and vintage jewelry to the shop as well as some other goodies.
*Just an update to let you know that I have had to increase the price of the triple triangle necklace due to the increase in the price of chain. I am now also offering a single triangle necklace, at the old price of the triple triangle necklace. The single is perfect for wearing with other necklaces… I can’t stop wearing the one I made for myself.
Dormir
I’ve posted some of Square America’s stereo photographs before, but they just put up some more amateur shots from around the Salt Lake City area circa 1940. More can be seen on their blog.
Etsy Vintage Picks: Out with the new
…and in with the old! Some vintage finds that tickled my fancy.

The Very Best.
This is just one of those weeks where it seems like nothing is going well.
Although yesterday on the way to an appointment I was behind this sexy old Knudsen truck, which made me smile. I’m amazed any of my “through-the-windshield” photos were even usable.
Enjoy the little things.
Fall 2010 RTW: Generra
I really love the new Generra collection for men. Leave it to Swaim and Christina Hutson. The way the green and blue colour palette was styled for the show is quite striking, and yet looks very wearable. Even though I wasn’t as excited about their women’s wear this time around, I really love the men’s.
R.I.P. Alexander McQueen
Today we lost a truly visionary designer.

Juliette Warmenhoven at Coming Soon
On our trip to Arnhem, Netherlands we went to the Centruum where all the shops are, and paid a visit to Coming Soon, a very stylish little shop that all of the people at Werkplaats Typografie recommended to us. I paid them a visit once by myself, on a day that they had Juliette Warmenhoven, a recent grad of ArtEZ setting up her mini-exhibit there (though at the time I thought they were just doing a new window display). I came back the following day with my husband to find a nicely curated exhibit of jadeite green hydroponic systems and miscellaneous other lovelies on a large 2 tiered table. I was too timid to take photos so these are from her site. This exhibit combines my two loves: plants + design! Check it out if you are in the area.
