Love these three unisex styles from Oliver Peoples. The first style is a nice collaboration with actress Zooey Deschanel, but my personal favourite is the second style which was inspired by Andy Warhol. I am seeing so many great examples of these modern sunglasses with the (hopefully) timeless beauty of vintage sunglasses.
So I don’t know about you, but I really hate it when I go into Urban Outfitters or somewhere like that and think.. “Wow… they totally have me pegged.” Here are some of the many things that I was drooling over.
Despite the oddly styled model (who looks a lot like a younger Alanis Morisette); shants; and unreasonably high pockets, I find myself loving everything you do for Marni, including this collection.
This video is absolutely fantastic. 60’s fashion by Rudi Gernreich at its best.
I love how Peggy Moffitt still dresses like this. My husband and I were just discussing how it’s like “hey the 60’s were my era, and I know it… and I still want to live it.” She still looks glamourous and mod even though she’s 70 this year.
This is one of my best Ebay scores. I got these for about $12 (for Bruno Magli -a steal) on Ebay a few years ago and they are seriously the cutest little vintage party shoes. I rarely get to bust them out, but today I remembered them and wore them to a business meeting with a dove grey blouse and jeans, because… well, why not? Los Angeles has been all gloomy for almost two weeks now, so some little metallic polka dot bows on my feet make me feel a little more cheerful.
